FIL N GO, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the SikhRishta matrimonial platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”).

Information You Provide Directly

When you register for an account, we collect:

• Contact information (email address, phone number)
• Profile information (name, date of birth, gender, location)
• Matrimonial preferences (religious practices, lifestyle choices, partner preferences)
• Photos you upload to your profile
• Messages you send to other users
• Payment information for web subscriptions (processed securely through Stripe). For in-app purchases on iOS and Android, payments are processed by Apple and Google respectively, and we do not receive your full payment card details for those purchases. Subscription status and renewal events for in-app purchases may be received from Apple or Google so we can provide access to paid features.

Information from Third Parties

If you sign up or sign in using Google, Apple, or another supported provider, we may receive your name and email address (and, where provided, a stable provider user identifier) from that provider. We only access information you have permitted the provider to share.

Automatically Collected Information

When you use our Platform, we may automatically collect:

• Device information (device type, operating system, browser type)
• Log information (IP address, access times, pages viewed)
• Location data (country, region based on IP address)
• Usage data (features used, interactions with other profiles)

How We Use Your Information

Content Moderation and Filtering

To maintain a safe and respectful community, we review and filter user-generated content:

Automated Content Analysis

We use automated systems to scan photos and text for inappropriate content, including profanity, explicit material, hate speech, and other violations of our community standards. This processing is performed to enforce our Terms of Service and protect our users.

Manual Review

Our moderation team may manually review content that is flagged by automated systems or reported by users. This includes photos, profile information, and messages.

Data from Moderation

We may retain records of content moderation actions, including removed content and the reasons for removal, for the purpose of enforcing our Terms and improving our systems.

Information Sharing

With Other Users

Your profile information (name, photos, bio, preferences) is visible to other registered users of SikhRishta. Contact information is only shared with users you have mutually matched with, as per your subscription tier.

With Service Providers

We share information with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Platform:

• Supabase: Database and authentication services
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Apple and Google: In-app purchase processing on iOS and Android (each acts as merchant of record for in-app purchases made on its platform)
• Resend: Email delivery services
• SendGrid: Email delivery services
• Twilio: OTP delivery services
• Cloud hosting providers: Data storage and processing

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our Company, users, or others.

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your information according to the following schedule:

• Active accounts: For as long as your account remains active
• Paid accounts: Profile data is retained no later than 90 days from subscription expiration or account deletion by the user, whichever occurs first
• Free accounts: Accounts with no activity for 90 consecutive days may be automatically deleted
• User-initiated deletion: When you delete your account, your profile and personal data will be removed within 90 days
• Messages: Deleted within 30 days of account deletion; messages sent to other users may persist in their accounts
• Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required for tax and legal compliance
• Usage logs: Retained for 12 months for security and analytics purposes
• Moderation records: Retained for 3 years for enforcement and appeal purposes

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time. You can delete your account through your account settings in the app or website, or by contacting us at sikhrishta@filngo.com. Certain information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as payment records for tax compliance).

Your Rights and Choices

Account Information

You may update or correct your profile information at any time by logging into your account. You may also request a copy of your personal data.

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account permanently at any time directly through your account settings in the app or website. You may also request deletion by contacting us.

Communication Preferences

You may opt out of promotional emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. You cannot opt out of service-related communications (account verification, security alerts, subscription updates).

For Users in the European Economic Area (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to Access: Request a copy of your personal data we hold
